Chinese manufacturer, Huawei, is currently working on its next flagship, the Huawei P50 series. According to reports, the Huawei P50 Pro will come with a 6.6-inch waterfall screen. A new leak from @DigitalChatStation shows the protective screen of this smartphone. From the leak, this smartphone will use a quad-curved design. This means that the screen will be curved on all four sides. However, the curvature will be higher on the left and right sides.
Furthermore, the Huawei P50 Pro will come with a center single punch-hole design instead of a pill-shape design. This will increase the screen-to-body ratio of the smartphone. The phone is 159mm long and 73mm wide, with a narrow frame. The Huawei P50 series will have three size models. It will have the 6.1-6.2-inch compact model, the 6.6-inch, and the 6.8-inch large model. These models will correspond to the Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+, respectively.
Furthermore, the Huawei P50 series will come with the Harmony OS 2.0 out of the box. As of now, this system is already in testing and it is currently testing Beta 3. While this device will not be the first to use the Harmony OS, it will be the first Huawei phone to have this system out-of-the-box.
This series will use a standard earpiece design instead of the magnetic suspension screen sound technology in the Huawei P40 series. In addition, the Huawei P50 series will use Sony IMX800 CMOS as standard for all systems, with a more powerful imaging system. In terms of core configuration, the P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ will come with the Kirin 9000 SoC. However, the standard Huawei P50 will use the Kirin 9000E SoC.
According to some reports, the Huawei P50 series will officially arrive on April 17th. However, there are also reports that this device will launch on April 26th or 27th. As of now, there is no official launch date for the Huawei P50 series.
