According to NPU, Nokia Mobile seems to be planning to launch two new Nokia phones with battery capacities of 4500 mAh and 5000 mAh in the near future. Recently, both batteries appeared on the TUV certification database. Both certifications are the latest certifications, which can display CN110 batteries with a capacity of 4500 mAh and WT340 batteries with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The certification shows that they will all support fast charging and belong to the Nokia smartphone series.
As of now, there is no announcement on the Nokia 6.3 / Nokia 6.4, Nokia 7.3 5G / Nokia 7.4 5G batteries. HMD CPO, Juho Sarvikas, also said earlier that Nokia 7.3 5G is under development. This smartphone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chip.
He also hinted that the display of Nokia 7.3 5G is 90 Hz/120 Hz. Thus HMD has reason to equip Nokia 7.3 5G with larger battery capacity. However, we do not know which of HMD’s devices will use the batteries in the certification.
Although Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, Snapdragon 888 is already official, HMD is yet to launch a smartphone with its predecessor. As of now, there is no Nokia phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
However, Nokia’s upcoming flagship, Nokia 9.3 PureView will use the Snapdragon 865 but it is not official yet. Obviously, Nokia phones are way behind the competition in the smartphone market.
